Jim Good back at home after major health scare
PRINCE GEORGE — Jim Good has been a recognizable figure in Prince George and the surrounding are for years now, dedicating his life’s work to Goodsir Nature Park, but unfortunately Jim has had some serious issues with his health in the week. Jim collapsed on the trails and doctors said he would have died if he wasn’t rushed to emergency.
“Well, I’m constantly looking for volunteers, so I have a few, but very few. I don’t have nearly enough. And I end up doing some of the work I shouldn’t be doing with failing health because I’m always keeping this place looking nice and keeping on top, doing as much as I can. And the last almost two weeks I’ve been to a hospital emergency twice, and the first time it was life threatening. I just went too far.” – Jim Good
With his recent health setbacks, Jim now has to drive into Prince George from Salmon Valley daily for treatment. A Gofundme page was set up by one of Jim’s friends to help Jim with costs around the park and for gas to drive back and forth to Prince George. So far over $9300 has been raised out of a goal of $10,000.
