Nechako Karate Club’s pride: eight athletes set to showcase skills in national competition

PRINCE GEORGE – Karate athletes from Prince George are getting ready to make their mark at the Canadian Karate Competition, as they proudly represent British Columbia.

The atmosphere is electric at the Nechako Karate Club, where these eight talented athletes have raised the intensity of their training to a whole new level. With unwavering dedication and a lifelong commitment to their craft, they have honed their moves since their early days.

Earning a coveted spot on the provincial team as a fighter is challenging, highlighting the incredible talent of these karate athletes. Among them,

Anika Hollybow stands out as a standout representative from Prince George, as she competes in not just one but two disciplines, showcasing her versatility and determination.

The team is excited as they prepare for their upcoming journey to Laval, Quebec. From July 4th to the 10th, they will immerse themselves in the competition, demonstrating their expertise in punches, kicks, knee strikes, and elbow strikes.

According to their coach, this is a fantastic opportunity for these martial artists to showcase their skills on a national stage.
