Battle in the North CrossFit competition takes place at Masich Place
PRINCE GEORGE — The Battle in the North fitness competition officially kicked off Saturday, and the rain and cloudy weather did not the stop the athletes from putting their best foot forward.
Battle in the North is a 3 day outdoor, individual competition held at Masich Place with everyone being able to showcase their fitness in different ways. Athletes can participate in a number of different events from weightlifting, powerlifting to endurance challenges.
There are four different divisions, scaled, intermediate, RX and Masters 45+, each with a male and female subdivision. A competition here in the North allows for competitors from the north to be able to stay closer to home. And this event has athletes coming as far as Kamloops and Penticton to compete.
