May building permit data shows continued slow start to 2023
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George city council will received the monthly building permit development summary on Monday (June 12) at the regular meeting of council.
Through the month of May three new duplex homes, and six single-family homes received permits from the city. On the commercial side, five alteration permits were approved, along with three institutional alterations.
The city also approved two development permits in May.
The total value of the permits is just short of $9.3 million, making it the worst month of May, value-wise, in the past three years. In 2022, the value was $28 million, in 2021 it was $57 million.
