PRINCE GEORGE – Immaculate “Macky” Basil disappeared ten years ago and will be commemorated by friends and community members tomorrow.
The public is invited to join a solemn Light of Hope Vigal to honour her memory and stand in solidarity with Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
The event will begin by paying tribute to Macky and all those impacted by violence. At 10 am, a 20-kilometre vehicle procession will start at the Leo Forest Service Road and proceed to the area where Macky disappeared a decade ago.
