PRINCE GEORGE — The rodeo grounds in Exhibition Park will be busy this weekend as 500 competitors will saddle up for rodeo action.

The Huber Equipment Rodeo PG returns for a second consecutive year with a wide array of rodeo events on tap. Bull riding, barrel racing, roping, and more will occur Saturday and Sunday.

The event kicks off Friday evening with barrel racing free for the public to watch.

Local sponsors have once again made the event possible and have helped add perks for spectators this year such as a jumbotron over the infield.

The best rodeo competitors from all over Western Canada will be in BC’s Northern Capital for what promises to be a major summer entertainment highlight. The rodeo will be sanctioned with the British Columbia Rodeo Association, Bull Riders Canada and the roughstock events will be sanctioned with the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association’s novice program.

Tickets are available online or in person at the rodeo grounds.
