Hospice Thrift Store opens new location

PRINCE GEORGE — The grand opening of the newest location of the Hospice Thrift Store took place on Saturday, representing an exciting chapter for the store.

The new location is at 7080 Domano Blvd and the new store will give customers a new space to shop around all while supporting a good cause. Jana Philips, store manager, says that the support from the community on the opening day was overwhelming.

“Well, Prince George never ceases to amaze us like we’re so grateful for our community and what they bring to us and their donations, like pay for so many programs that hospice provides. It’s just so exciting because it just shows the support that we have in our community and how we had a line up out the door this morning.” – Jana Philips, Store Manager, PG Hospice Thrift Store

Proceeds from whatever is purchased in a hospice thrift store stays in the community and goes towards the Prince George Hospice Pallative Care Society.

The PG Hospice Thrift Stores are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, and they are accepting donations from furniture, clothing, home decor to toys and books.
