One person killed in Highway 16 West crash Wednesday
PRINCE GEORGE — It turns out Wednesday’s crash on Highway 16 West was a tragic one.
Prince George RCMP say one person was killed yesterday following a collision between a semi-trailer truck and a four-door-sedan on the highway at Carmel Drive West
“In consultation with Northern B.C. Highway Patrol, Prince George RCMP is concluding the investigation into this incident. Police officers have determined there was no criminality involved and have turned this matter over to the B.C. Coroners Service, who are conducting their own investigation. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
The crash closed the highway for a couple of hours as investigators combed the scene.
