Justine Lake issued an evacuation alert, 88 km northwest of Vanderhoof

PRINCE GEORGE — The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako has issued an evacuation alert as wildfires continue to spread throughout the province.

The district says in a news release an evacuation alert has been issued for all properties, lands, and roads approximately two kilometers north of Fraser Lake, excluding IRs, including a portion of the Southerland Trout FSR and Southerland Oona FSR, and Southerland Angly FSR.

Additionally, the district says residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation. However, may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
