Evacuation order and alert changes made to Parrot Lookout Wildfire

PRINCE GEORGE — The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako have made a number of evacuation order and alert changes in regards to the Parrot Lookout Wildfire.
The district says the evacuation order that was issued on July 19 at 3:30 p.m. is amended for the following areas:
“The Evacuation Order remains in place for Trout Creek Road, as shown on the attached map. The Evacuation Order is rescinded for all lands and properties west of Brown Road to Morice Owen Service Road and Parrot FSR, including Owen Lake Road, east of Francois Lake (except for Trout Creek Road), as shown on the attached map. The Evacuation Alert Amendment issued July 22, 2023 at 1300 hours by Wet’suwet’en First Nation, Skin Tyee Nation, and the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako replaces previous Evacuation Alerts and remains in place, as shown on the attached map.”
