Cougars excited for season after successful development camps

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars were well represented this offseason with 8 current and former players attending various NHL development camps.

For players like Hudson Thornton, it was the first time ever heading to an NHL Facility. And although the Cougars D-Man wasn’t picked in the draft he was determined to show that he deserved to be there.

As for Cougars goalie Ty Young, it was his 2nd time heading to Vancouver for the Canucks development camp after being drafted by them back in 2022. For Young, he was a bit more confident heading back for year two and took advantage of it

Both Players know next year for the Cougars will be a special one, and they’re not the only ones looking forward to it as everyone in the organization knows what has to be done to take the next step.
