Update: Highway 16 all clear following vehicle incident

PRINCE GEORGE — Highway 16 West between Norman Lake Road and Tamarack Lake was closed for about an hour-and-a-half this evening due to a two-vehicle accident involving an SUV and a semi-trailer truck.

Prince George RCMP say the incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. The highway reopened to single-lane alternating traffic around 7. The all clear was given a few hours later.

No word on any injuries or what caused the crash. We’ll provide those details as soon as they’re made available.
