Hospice Dream Home and 50/50 sales struggling

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Hospice Dream Home and 50/50 are needing a little extra help this year as their ticket sales are a lot lower than usual.

This time last year was a very different story.

“We were definitely higher. This time we were closer to 100,000. Over 100,000 actually. So, we are a little behind, which is always worrisome when this is what we need to continue to give to support in our community and run the community programs the way they are.”

“The goal with the Dream Home is to always sell out for the 50/50 and the Dream Home. Our goal is not to come close to selling the goals, it’s to sell out, because that’s what we need in order to keep operating the way we do.”

Tickets for the Dream Home are only $120 and 50/50 tickets are $25. The first draw for the 50/50 is August 31.
