Plane crash east of Wells claims one life

WELLS — One person is dead following a plane crash 28 kilometres east of Wells at Bowron Lake.

Quesnel RCMP say they were informed of the crash at around 8:45 p.m. Thursday night.

The deceased person was located at the scene by emergency services and the cause remains under investigation.

The RCMP is working alongside the Transportation Safety Board and the BC Coroners Service to determine the cause of this incident.
