UNBC Men’s Soccer returns to the pitch

PRINCE GEORGE — UNBC’s men’s soccer team returned to the pitch this week, as preparation begins for the 2023-24 Canada West season. Players are excited to be back and playing the sport they love and are slowly regaining form.

There are veterans and rookies, all learning and re-learning the ropes. One of the new players ready to make an impact is forward Isaac Tate. He says his transition to Prince George has gone really well, with veterans and coaches all welcoming the new players.

The Timberwolves look to build on last season, which saw them make the playoffs but lose in the first round.

The men will start their season at Masich Place Stadium on August 25th and 27th when they take on the reigning Canada West champions, the UBC Thunderbirds.
