Cold front pushes smoke into Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — A cold front is moving east across the Prince George Fire Centre bringing smoke into the city.
The BC Wildfire Service says winds are also bringing smoke from fires located within the Cariboo Fire Centre into the Prince George Fire Centre.
The smoke is expected to continue tracking east and northeast as this front passes through.
A daytime high of 26 degrees is expected today, with a 40% chance of showers this afternoon. A low of 12 is expected tonight with a 60% chance of showers. The current Air Quality Health Index is sitting at 8 for Prince George.
