MACKENZIE — Mounties in Mackenzie are investigating an arson.
RCMP say it happened Monday night near Cicada Road with the Mackenzie Fire Department arriving on scene shortly after 9 p.m. to find a ski cabin on fire.
Witnesses told police they heard a vehicle in the area but couldn’t provide a description.
The cabin was destroyed with damages estimated at $40,000.
No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (250)997-3288.
