56th Ladies Simon Fraser Open a huge succsess

PRINCE GEORGE– Over the weekend the 56th Ladies Simon Fraser Open took place at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club. After a great weekend of golf, a winner has been crowned.

Betty Ann Shiels made history as she was victorious over the weekend. which marked her 11th time winning the golf tournament and the Wee Birdie trophy. A new record. Over the two days, she shot a 73 and 75 for a 2-day total of 148. The net champion of the event was Kyla Belobaba.

Overall the event was a great success with many fancy hats, great food, prizes, and great golf. Shiels would also like to thank the “Real” Ladies Simon Committee.

In turn, the Committee would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful fun and fellowship this weekend. While saying it was their absolute pleasure hosting “The Running of the 56th Ladies Simon Fraser Open”
