UNBC Woman’s Soccer team hosts ID Camp for new recruits

PRINCE GEORGE — Soccer players from all over gathered at the Northern Sports Centre over the past couple of days to take part in the UNBC Timberwolves ID Camp. This a chance for players that are committed or interested in joining UNBC’s woman’s soccer program to play with current players on the roster and learn from Head Coach Neil Sedgwick.

The camp provides an opportunity for players like Lauren Gubbels (who is already verbally committed to the university) to get more experience with players already on the woman’s roster.

Meanwhile, for players like Aimée Glasser who haven’t decided on a post-secondary option yet, it’s a great opportunity to gather information on not only the soccer team but also UNBC as a whole.

The women’s team also does its part to help players at the ID Camp, with both girls noting the amazing environment the team presents to everyone.
