Regional District of Fraser-Fort George to begin search for new CAO

PRINCE GEORGE — The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George will be accepting resumes for the position of chief administrative officer (CAO) soon.

This as current CAO Jim Martin has announced he’ll be retiring at the end of the year.

Martin has been with the Regional District since 1994 when he joined the Environmental Services Department. He’s been CAO since 2007.

Lara Beckett, Chair of the Regional District’s Board of Directors, released the following statement regarding Martin’s announced retirement:

“Jim’s leadership and contributions have left an indelible mark on the Regional District. His dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment have guided this organization’s growth and change.

The Board will begin the process of searching for a new CAO this fall.
