WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A Williams Lake man has been charged after a violent robbery in the Cariboo city last month, but one suspect remains on the loose.

RCMP say Kyle Travis Sellars, 31, is in custody and facing a list of charges.

On August 22, Mounties were called to Pigeon Road, where a man reported he had been robbed at gunpoint and held by force in his home. The man managed to escape to a neighbour’s home and police were summoned.

Police say the victim was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

One suspect was arrested while another male suspect fled the area.

Sellars is charged with robbery with a firearm, confinement, aggravated assault and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm.

Officers are still investigating and are looking for more information on the suspect on the run. If you have any further information, you are asked to contact Williams Lake RCMP at (250) 392-6211.
