PG RCMP recovered over $465,000 in stolen property

PRINCE GEORGE—Over the past three months Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit has focused their energy on targeting individuals involved in property crime throughout the Prince George Community.

In July, the Street Crew Unit helped recover a stolen Tige boat, three stolen motorcycles, and four stolen ATVs. The value of the recovered property totalled around $365,000.

During August and September, the Street Crew Unit set their sites on a known property crime offender and executed a search warrant on their property. A large quantity of merchandise and tools were seized in the investigation. The recovered property totalled over $100,000.

Where possible, the items that have been recovered by our investigators have been returned to the rightful owners or to the businesses where they were stolen from originally,
