Change of Command Ceremony set for Rocky Mountain Rangers

It’s a big weekend for Prince George’s only reservist army group, the Rocky Mountain Rangers. The group is holding a full change of command ceremony Saturday at 4 pm at the Civic Centre open to the public. We chatted with departing Commanding Officer Lieutenant Amedeo Vecchio ahead of the big event.

This event is considered vey significant in the regiment’s history, as it recognizes the transition from outgoing Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Amedeo Vecchio, CD to the incoming Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Torry White, CD. The ceremony will be presided over by the Commander of 39 Canadian Brigade Group, Colonel Scott Raesler, CD.
