The Exploration Place adds limited-time exhibit

PRINCE GEORGE – The Exploration Place is always changing and adding new things, and this time around they’ve added a limited time environmental exhibit.

“This exhibit is called ‘Our Climate Quest: Small Steps to Big Change’, and it is a traveling exhibit making its way across Canada right now. So, we’re about midway through our B.C. leg of the tour. It talks a lot about sustainability, climate action and what we can do as individuals to help.”

This adds a little bit of lighter content to the Exploration Place, adding some different depth to the centre.

“Right now, we have a very history-heavy exhibit in our main gallery hall and we like to switch those things up, to try to make things very interactive and hands-on. I always talk about tricking people into learning, but they don’t really realize it because they’re having too much fun to think about what they’re learning.”
