Downtown structure fire causes $30K in damages

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue doused a commercial structure fire Saturday morning.
The city says three halls were called out to the fire located in the 800 block of 2nd Avenue at around 8:45 a.m.
Crews arrived to find heavy black smoke coming from the exterior structure with firefighters completely extinguishing the fire on both the outside and inside of the building.
The cause of the fire is under investigation with damages estimated at $30,000. There were no reported injuries.
