Online Crime Report

Empowering Prince George Residents with Online Crime Reporting for a Safer Community

PRINCE GEORGE – Since 2019, residents of Prince George have had a handy tool at their disposal to help maintain the safety and security of their community. Through the Online Crime Reporting tool, accessible from the comfort of your own home or internet-connected device.

With a few hits of some buttons on your keyboard or smartphone, those affected by a crime can generate a crime report without an attending police officer.

In addition to providing a more convenient way for residents to make a report of a less urgent nature, this tool allows call-takers and frontline personnel to focus on higher-priority calls.

Emergencies and crimes against a person should still go through through 9-1-1.

The person making the online report needs to use their real name and have a valid e-mail address.

“ This is not a place to report Anonymous tips. We have our northern B.C. Crime Stoppers, which we have as partners, and they are a great way to report something anonymously that you want police to know. “
