PRINCE GEORGE — Terik Parascak got his hockey start like most kids. Inspired by their parents playing the sport before them and growing up in a hockey town.

Fast forward to today and the Lethbridge, Alberta product leads the entire Canadian Hockey League in goals with 15. It wasn’t always like this for Parascak though.

He was drafted in the 4th round of the 2021 WHL Prospects draft. With the perception of the Cougars changing and becoming a desirable hockey team to play for, Parascak headed to his first camp with the team and fell in love.

After impressing in the CSSHL he made the jump to Cougars full-time this year. And despite not having the hype of being a top pick. Head Coach and GM Mark Lamb slotted him on the top line with 20-year-old Zac Funk and Import Ondrej Becher. The rest is history. The line has exploded this year and have combined for a total of 70 points in just 12 games.

Now Terik Parascak looks to continue his incredible play and be a part of something special. With Prince George looking like one of the contenders for not only a WHL Championship but also a Memorial Cup.
