Motorcyclist killed in two-vehicle crash in Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE — One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash Monday night (Oct.30) in Williams Lake.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the collision – involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck – occurred just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 97 and Toop Road.

She says the motorcyclist was driving southbound on the highway when it collided with the pickup as it was turning onto Toop Road.

The male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. Saunderson says the victim was from the 141 Mile House area.
