PRINCE GEORGE— The holidays are quickly approaching and Orgins Kitchen at the Exploration Place have announced a unique pre-Christmas events that will add some local spirit to your holiday countdown.
Orgins Kitchen is hosting a build your own “Northern B.C. Beer Advent Calendar” on November 23 and 30 as you celebrate the 24 day countdown till Christmas. Then on December 7th they will be hosting a “Build a Northern B.C. Beer or Cider Advent Calendar – 12 Days ‘Til Christmas” event.
“We’re excited to host this event with beers selected from breweries all over Northern BC,”says Jeni Arnott, Manager of Origins Kitchen. “Since we’re a museum and a science centre, we’re planning to highlight the science of beer making, plus we have chosen beers with historic backstories and ingredients native to their surrounding land.”
Both evenings will provide you the opportunity to select your favourite craft brews from the Northern B.C. Ale Trail, with the Orgins team on hand to assist to assist in crafting your customized 24-day or 12-day calendar.
