UNBC offering course on AI
PRINCE GEORGE— Artificial Intelligence has become a buzzword in industries across the world as Machine Learning technology improves. University of Norther British Columbia Continuing Studies program has partnered with RoboGarden Inc. to provide two new courses for students in Northern B.C. looking to grow in the high-opportunity field.
The Machine Learning Foundation Micro-credential will be an online self paced course teaching the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence including an introduction to “Python libraries”, data exploration and how to classify the different models. You can register for the course today.
Machine Learning & AI Bootcamp Certificate will dive deep into artificial intelligence teaching a wide variety of machine learning models from classical models to modern models. The online course will hold their first session in the Winter 2024 semester.
“Part of reimagining how we educate and learn to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world is through collaboration. Our partnership with RoboGarden to deliver this online, instructor-supported machine learning and AI digital workforce upskilling bootcamp will provide residents in northern British Columbia with the most up-to-date tools and resources in this field,” says UNBC Continuing Studies Interim Manager Stacey Linton. “This innovative partnership will empower our learners with the cutting-edge knowledge and skills to meet the emerging needs of the workforce, both at home and further afield.”
