Miguel Marques excited to play in Prince George for the first time in his WHL Career

PRINCE GEORGE — Ten days ago Prince George product Cameron Schmidt made his Prince George debut with the Vancouver Giants. Now the Lethbridge Hurricanes come to town and Miguel Marques who takes his first strides on the CN Centre Ice while representing a WHL Club. A moment the 17-year-old has been dreaming of ever since being drafted to the Hurricanes organization back in 2021.

Marques has been a big part of the Hurricane’s success this season recording 23 points in 24 games. It’s continued on this most recent BC Division road trip where the forward has put up seven points in just four games and is coming off a three-point performance against the Kamloops Blazers.

Miguel isn’t the only one looking forward to making his Prince George debut as friends and family are excited to watch him as well. So if you see plenty of Lethbridge Hurricanes jerseys tonight it’s because #14 is on the ice as he returns to his hometown.
