Big third period lifts Cougars over Hurricanes

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars welcomed the Lethbridge Hurricanes last night (Nov. 24) inside CN Centre.

Riley Heidt led the home team to a 6-4 victory with two goals and three assists. Koehn Zimmer and Zac Funk also scored two goals each for Prince George.

Ty Young earned his 10^th win in goal, making 21 saves in the Cougars’ goal, while Harrison Meneghin stoped 25 shots for the Hurricanes.

Prince George will be back in action on Monday (Nov. 27) to face the Everett Silvertips on home ice.
