Salmon egg program begins in SD57 classrooms

If you’ve seen a salmon egg before you know they’re incredibly small and incredibly fragile. Eggs need the right amount of light, the right temperature, and even the right noise levels to hatch properly. A longtime tradition in Prince George and around the region is to use local classrooms to raise the eggs into salmon fry before releasing them at the end of the school year. We stop by Westwood Elementary to see what the kids thought of the eggs so far.
