Spruce Kings split two games in Cranbrook, fall to the Bucks 4-2 Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings were unable to leave Cranbrook with two victories over the weekend.

After a 3-2 win the night prior, the Spruce Kings fell to the Cranbrook Bucks 4-2 on the road Saturday (Dec. 9).

Linden Makow scored both the Spruce Kings’ goals, including the 2-2 tying goal early in the third period, but the Bucks responded 56 seconds later and added an empty net goal late en route to the 4-2 win.

The Spruce Kings fall to 8-14-3-0 on the 2023-24 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season, good for 19 points in 25 games. They remain at the bottom of the Interior Division.
