The Prince George Cougars deliver a commanding 6-3 victory over the Wenatchee Wild
WENATCHEE, W.A. — The Prince George Cougars achieved their 23rd win of the season, confidently defeating the Wenatchee Wild 6-3 at the Town Toyota Centre on Friday (Dec. 15).
This was the last game of the Cougars in their two-game road trip to Washington, coming back from a defeat against Everett.
The Cougars would take control of the game early on in the first period, with Hunter Laing scoring after a minute of play, followed by Terik Parascak and Zac Funk to end the period 3-0.
Wenatchee attempted the comeback by scoring two goals in quick succession in the second period and another in the third. However, with a goal from Hunter Laing in the second and two more from Zac Funk in the third to complete his hat-trick, Prince George sealed the deal 6-3.
