PRINCE GEORGE — December sees more crashes than any other month in British Columbia with an average of two deaths and 457 injuries each year in BC.
With that in mind, ICBC is reminding motorists to plan ahead if they plan on drinking or doing drugs by taking transit, a cab or using Operation Red Nose.
They also urge motorists to drive to winter conditions, including reducing your speed and having the proper winter tires on your vehicle.
ICBC says every year during the Christmas holidays, on average, 16 people are injured in 78 crashes in the North Central region of British Columbia.
