Timberwolves fall to Pronghorns

PRINCE GEORGE – The UNBC Timberwolves welcome the the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns last night (Jan. 5) but couldn’t secure a victory.

The men fell short, dropping 87-85. With 0.8 seconds left on the clock, UNBC came within inches of tying the game off a spectacular in-bound pass alley-oop attempt, but the ball hit the outside of the rim and Lethbridge held on to earn their first win of the season.

The women put up a battle but it wasn’t enough. The team was short-staffed, with only an eight-player rotation. Final score was 82-62.

The TWolves will play a rematch tonight.
