Collision on Highway 97 claims one life

QUESNEL—On Thursday evening(Jan. 4) at 8:00 p.m. Quesnel RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 97 near Fridlington Rd., outside of Marguerite, south of Quesnel. An SUV was travelling north bound when it crossed the centre line into the south bound ditch causing it to roll over. A 43-year-old man, who was the only occupant of the vehicle was found deceased.

“Traffic was temporarily disrupted while police dealt with the collision,” said Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
