Cariboo Rocks the North on indefinite hiatus
PRINCE GEORGE—Cariboo Rocks the North will not take place in 2024 with the festival now on indefinite hiatus.
Since 2018, the festival has brought thousands of classic rock fans to CN Centre’s Exhibition Park in Prince George.
In a statement on their social media pages the organizers look to thank everyone who helped make the event possible as well as the contractors, suppliers, volunteers, non-profit partners, vendors, sponsors, our artists, and the crew. They also wanted to thank everyone who attended the three-day festival over the years.
“It really was a phenomenal event,” says Glen Mikkelsen with the City of Prince George, in a video statement. “It’s been incredible. The thousands of people, not just from Prince George but from across the country come into our community and experiencing what it’s like to have a great time here in Prince George at a classic rock fest”
