Basement fire on Gogolin Road causes 100K in damages

PRINCE GEORGE — An early morning fire on the 2000-block of Gogolin Road caused $100,000 in damages.

Prince George Fire Rescue responded just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning (Jan.31) to find a basement fire. No one was home at the time and the blaze was brought under control.

The fire appeared to be caused by improper storage of materials around the furnace.

There were no injuries.
