Update: missing 12-year-old girl found

PRINCE GEORGE— Update: Diamond Hampton has been found and is safe and sound. No other information will be released.

Earlier: The Prince George RCMP are asking for any information on the whereabouts of 12-year-old Diamond Hampton. Diamond was last seen Wednesday evening on the 2700-block of Ospika Boulevard South.

Diamond Hampton is described as:

• 157 cm (5’2)
• 32 kg (71 lb)
• Brown eyes
• Brown/black hair

Diamond was last seen wearing the same black and red plaid hoodie that’s in her photo. She also had on black pants and knee high mucklucks

“Diamond’s family is very concerned for her well-being. Police are asking that if anyone sees her or has information on her whereabouts, they call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 to report it to a police officer,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP.
