Terik Parascak named Rookie of the Week for fifth time

PRINCE GEORGE — Terik Parascak has been named the WHL Player of the Week.

It’s the fifth time this season the rookie has received the honour. Parascak had five points in two games this week.

Those five points came in Friday’s 5-3 win over the Vancouver Giants. His 92 points (36 goals, 56 assists) ranks first among all WHL rookies.

The winger is considered a top prospect for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and is ranked 14^th among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting.

Prince George (43-15-1-3) is on an 11-0-1-1 point streak and has already clinched a playoff berth and home-ice advantage in round one of the postseason.
