Weather records fall over the weekend in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — It was a record-breaking weekend in Prince George when it comes to the weather.

Environment Canada says the temperature reached 16.8 degrees on Saturday, breaking the old record of 13.3 degrees set back in 1947.

Then on Sunday the temperature hit 20.2 degrees, breaking the previous high of 13.3 degrees set back in 1941.

Environment canada says we can expect a dip in temperatures this week though, with overnight lows below minus 10 Wednesday through Saturday.
