Local couple wins big with Lotto 6/49

PRINCE GEORGE— Prince George couple Annabelle and Arden Ross received a welcome surprise on Saturday March 9, 2024. The pair won $229,848.90 after matching 5/6+ numbers in the Lotto 6/49 draw.

They purchased the Lotto 6/49 ticket from Walmart on Southridge Avenue and were at home when they checked their winning ticket.

“I checked bclc.com and thought we won the next prize down, and then Annabelle double-checked and told me that we won the bigger prize,” recalled Arden.

After much jubilation, the couple will use the new found small fortune to ease their finances.

“It’s nice to not have to worry about finances. We will plan carefully and take a few vacations,” added Annabelle.
