Record breaking heat in Prince George Monday

PRINCE GEORGE — Another weather record was broken in Prince George on Monday.

According to Environment Canada, we hit 13.9 degrees, beating the previous high of 13.4 degrees set back in 1997.

This follows record breaking temperatures over the weekend, including 20.2 degrees on Sunday.

The record heat won’t continue though, as temperatures are expected to dip below seasonal norms Wednesday through the weekend.

In fact overnight lows will hit minus 10 on Wednesday, minus 14 on Thursday, minus 13 on Friday and Saturday and minus 12 on Sunday.
