One person killed in motorcycle crash on Highway 16

VALEMOUNT — One person is dead and another is critically injured following a motorcycle crash on Highway 16 at Tete Jaune Cache yesterday (sun) afternoon.

North District RCMP say it happened just after 4 p.m. near the scales. No word on what caused the collision but it appears to be a single-vehicle accident.

The crash closed the highway in both directions as investigators combed the scene.

No other information has been released.
