Cougars off to unblemished start in WHL playoffs
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars have held serve at home in Round 1 of the WHL playoffs.
Seven players registered goals for the Cats in a 7-4 victory over the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday (March 30) at CN Centre.
The Cougars lead 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, with Game 3 scheduled for Tuesday in Spokane.
A crowd of nearly 6,000 was at the game on Saturday and watched the home team take a 6-0 lead after two periods.
