“Our U16 Kodiaks achieved an amazing result this weekend by winning the Dinos Best of the West. Every athlete played their best volleyball of the season. Contributions were made by each player. With every upset the team got stronger and stronger. The girls were so excited and proud of their accomplishment,” says Coach Mark Lafleur reflecting on the teams achievement.

“Throughout the 3-day event people, coaches, and athletes asked who the Kodiaks were and where we were from,” continues Coach Mark Lafleur. “By tournaments end every major club in Western Canada knew that the Kodiaks were a hard working bunch from Prince George.”

Tyler Dahl was named the Most Valuable Player and Delaney Turner was awarded team all star.
