Resident finds cash and drugs buried along popular trail in College Heights

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are thanking a local resident after an out-of-the ordinary discovery.

Police say the individual found a large quantity of drugs hidden in some large black cases buried down a local trail near the 6800-block of Fairmont Crescent on April 1.

Police opened the three cases in various locations to find about $5,000 in cash and over 400 grams of illicit drugs inside.

Police seized the cases for further investigation.

Prince George RCMP is reminding the public to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.
