Catching up with Amanda Asay’s parents ahead of her induction into the PG Sports HOF

The 2024 induction into the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame is one filled with incredible athletes including the late Amanda Asay. The multisport athlete cracked Team Canada’s Baseball roster for several events including the Pan American Games. Asay also made five appearances at the IBAF World Cup where she has won three medals, highlighted by a silver in 2008. In 2006 she was named to the tournament all-star team at first base as Canada won the bronze medal and also earned national team MVP honours.
